Come Visit Me, You WIll be Entertained.

In New York City, there is never a dull moment.

Thanks to my friends who came to visit me this week!
The boat rides in Central Park, taking an hour to find the boats, free rowing advice from strangers (novelists?), The Afrobats, being the only white people in the Puerto Rican restaurant, the Meatpacking District, Australian creepers with visions of us on the beach with him, wrong subways to Central Park North, Tom's Restaurant.
11AM-12:30pm no parking on the left side of the road, lunch on the stoop, running to the first 5 trains on the subway, the huge ferry line, being 12 for $4.50, resisting the countless ice cream trucks, not resisting the man with the steel drum, being a tourist at the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, pasta in 5 minutes in Times Square, Chinatown, "Coach" whispers and long walks to hidden underground rooms with ripoff purses, running away fast after no purchase, 2 lunches for $1.80, fake everything, $2 margaritas 81st and Amsterdam, Jake's- karaoke and new crazy EMT friends, express trains to everywhere, Central Park picnic, 90 degree weather, bye bye sissy
